Design Technology
What is D.T?
DT stands for Design Technology. DT is the study of how products are designed and made.
Why do we learn D.T?
We learn to DT to become resourceful, innovative, enterprising and capable citizens through problem-solving and being creative.
In our Design and Technology lessons, we embark on exciting journeys of creativity and problem-solving! Students will explore the world of materials, tools, and techniques as they design and create their own projects. From building simple structures to crafting functional items, our hands-on activities encourage teamwork and innovation. We aim to inspire young minds to think critically, experiment boldly, and bring their imaginative ideas to life. Together, we will learn the importance of design, making, and evaluating our creations, all while having fun.
At Park Hill, Design Technology is delivered in one half termly block per term.
