Reception
In Reception, we aim to foster a lifelong love of learning and enable your child to have the best possible start to their school journey.
We follow the EYFS framework and each week, children will participate in various sessions and activities based on this. These will include the prime areas of Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development and Communication and Language as well as the specific areas of Literacy, Maths, Expressive Arts and Design and Understanding the World.
Your child will be starting to learn to read during phonics sessions and guided reading sessions so please send in your child's bookbag on the correct day. Please read and share books with your child every day.
